Homeric Epic of the Guild of Bad Decision's Defeat of Emerald Dragon Queen
Harken ye, O people, to the tale of the brave adventurers,
Who set forth from their halls to explore the ruins of Tamoachan.
The fates had whispered to them of ancient books and powerful magic,
And they heeded the call, eager for glory and fame.
First they encountered a book room, where they had defeated a dryder in days of old.
There they found many scrolls of history and the nature of magic,
Among them, the powerful book "Knowledge is Power,"
Which Jax, a skilled detective and interrogator claimed for her own.
But the journey was perilous, for they soon faced a fierce Hydra,
In a chamber filled with filth, but with their combined might
And the aid of Nimrod's conjured eldritch tentacles of terror, they emerged victorious.
Next, they stumbled upon a mud room, where they discovered a decanter of endless mud,
A powerful tool for any adventurer, but they were not yet done.
For soon they were confronted by basilisks, beasts of death.
Nimrod the Beautiful, one of their own and ever the stallwart, fell victim to their deadly gaze, turned to stone.
But their muses had not abandoned them, for they made a deal with a green dragon,
Feigning alliance with the beast, but in truth, they intended to defeat it.
With the aid of Fennix, a failed druid returned from the dead and Gaffy the Blue Paladin, both of them immune to poison,
They were able to press on. Fennix, who was secretly stalking the party before they enlisted his help, also brought word from the guild headquarters
That the Golden Orchids, a powerful band of magic using thieves, named their teams after different flowers.
The mirror of the past showed them visions of the wizards fighting against the vine blights,
And barricading a doorway, before disappearing in a flash of magic.
They claimed the wand of shadows, and fought the vine blights to reclaim the mirror.
They returned to face the dragon and emerged victorious,
The dragon attempted to use its emerald green poison gas breath but Gaffy the Bold and Fennix were able to hold their own, while Amok and Jax, using their stealth and cunning, struck the dragon viciously from the shadowy hiding places.
Skinning the dragon and taking its teeth and claws as trophies.
With the hoard key, they entered the dragon's hoard,
Where they discovered an immovable rod, a potion of invisibility, basilisk antitoxins,
And a great wealth of gems and coin.
Amok, a cunning thief and assassin, filled a bag of holding with the best books on magic,
And filled one regular sack with mysteries.
And Fennix used a potion from the hoard to heal Nimrod in all his terrifying beauty.
Thus, the adventure was complete, and they returned to the nearest town as heroes,
Their names forever remembered in the annals of Tharondor's history.
Destiny smiled upon them, for they were cunning and brave,
They outwitted their foes, and their deeds will be sung by bards for generations.
For they were true to their purpose, and they were favored by the muses.
